RIDE FOR DANIEL
THE DATE WAS 8TH JUNE, 2008 Some time ago now, but a mate of mine sent me some picks and made a short video that is an easy watch, so it was essential that I kick started this blog off with this article for the new year, of a major, major, major (to coin a phrase, Barry Sheene )event.
We can't forget what the Ride for Daniel typifies. It has justly so, become to be the premiere child safety awareness event in Australia.
Thousands of biking enthusiasts from all walks of life across Aust. united together to honour Daniel (view previous post) and raise the level of awareness for child safety and protection. Funds raised on the day went towards education of children, and the general public through the work of the Daniel Morecomb Foundation.
Harleys, Triumphs and Choppers
There are some shots of Biker Guys and Girls that had a time out on the Daniel Ride to refresh and give their Bikes a Drink.
Scroll up to click on this video and if you wish to look at further stills, some pin shots to click on are available here, at the top of the blog in the slideshow.
I love Classic Motorcycles, records they have set and famous people "stars" that ride them. I love my mal-surfboard too, but my need for speed is satisfied by my Triumph Tiger 955i wow!
